Colchagua Wine Tours

Amazing! I had an amazing time with Colchagua Wine Tours! I spent two days going to beautiful wineries and amazing restaurants. You will want someone to drive you if you are drinking. Trying to find and schedule wineries in this area is extremely difficult in this area, and they know all of the best places to go along with having the ability to be flexible in cases where schedules change. Booking with CWT was extremely easy, the communication was excellent, and having them lead through the valley and various wineries is the best and easiest way to go. The know the great spots, and might have some surprise gems as well. I did a tour in Casablanca valley with another company, and it was not even 20% as good as this tour and valley, in my opinion. Connie and Francisco are fabulous to work with.

I could not recommend this more highly. Not only did they plan out a fantastic day for us, but when they realized that the restaurant that we wanted to visit the day before our tour was closed, they rearranged our day to ensure we could fit that in during our tour and made all reservations for us. They went above and beyond. Communication with Connie was great. The wineries we visited were excellent and Francisco was a great guide with a lot of information about the region. Highly recommend and we look forward to visiting again.

Highest Quality Experience, Highly RecommendConnie and Francisco run a great operation. In looking for an English speaking tour in Colchagua we saw the great reviews on TripAdvisor and had our expectations exceeded.We sent a list of wineries for a custom tour and Connie made some suggestions to come up with a full day with tours at Montes, Lapostolle, and MontGras and a lunch at the restaurant at Viña Viu Manent. All of the visits were interesting and we had some great wines.Most of all we enjoyed getting to know Francisco, he is Chilean, lived in the US for 30 years and speaks perfect English. He was so kind in making sure our day went really well and adding little additional aspects to the trip like visiting Carmelo the giant horse at Viu Manent and making suggestions for a great road side fine-dining restaurant, Entre Rios, for our drive to Santiago the next day.He was also kind in giving a ride to another couple we met on a tour, at our request, that was planning to walk 20 minutes to another winery in the hot summer sun.

My partner and I loved our day exploring Colchagua's wineries with this company! Having also done wine tours in Mendoza and the Casablanca valley, this day still stands out to us as a total favourite. Great variety of wines and wineries (including different subregions within the valley), beautiful venues with stunning views, and an amazing lunch at Fuego. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a fantastic day visiting wineries in Cholchagua valley. Connie and Francisco run a top notch operation, setting up tastings and arranging transportation. They are extremely organized and knowledgable of the area. They are also incredibly responsive to email inquiries, which makes organizing from afar a breeze. We were very happy with our entire experience and would not hesitate to recommend Cholchagua wine tours to friends and family!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Colchagua Wine Tours. My husband and I had a tour cancelled by another company, and at the very last minute I contacted Connie to see if they could help us. With less than 24 hours notice, Connie arranged transportation, tastings, and lunch for us. We went to three incredible wineries and had an amazing time. Our driver was fantastic and even dropped us off at the airport after the tour. I so appreciate Connie’s hard work on such short notice. I cannot recommend Colchagua Wine Tours enough. We stayed in Colchagua for two nights as part of our honeymoon. We wanted to learn more about wine and experience what Chile has to offer. Connie and the team organised everything for us. Connie worked with us to find out what we wanted and put the perfect itinerary together. We had two guides / drivers across our three day itinerary, Francisco and Patricio. Both were excellent and went over and above for us, with last minute changes to the itinerary and doing everything they could to make our time in Colchuaga perfect. They know all the wineries intimately and they also know the best restaurants. They also organise tours and transport from Santiago to Colchuga and to the other wine regions closer to Santiago, Casablanca for example. We decided to use the buses to save money for wine. Connie went the extra mile and helped us with where to sit on the bus to avoid the strong sun. When our bus arrived, Fransisco was there waiting for us. On our return to Santiago, Patricio helped us get onto the bus, and waited to make sure we were safely on our way. Fransisco is a fountain of knowledge. He gave us an excellent introduction to the area and the wineries. We had a truly luxury experience with private transport, and truly personal and exceptional attention. If you are visiting Chile and want to experience Chilean wine, I strongly recommend using Colchuga Wine Tours. We are now working with Connie to plan a day excursion to Casblanca from Santiago.

We had a fantastic experience with Francisco in the Colchagua Valley day tour, from Santa Cruz. The day was perfectly organized, and Francisco was very friendly and knowledgable about the region, the wines, and even which wines would be available when we returned home to the US and which might be worth purchasing in Chile. The lunch was also fabulous. Can't say enough about this company and their tours!!
