Hotel Posada 3 Pasos

Though the quality of the food has dramatically increased over the past 5 year, unfortunately the quality of the accommodations have begun to deteriorate. The views are great and most of the staff is very friendly. They appear to be in the midst of renovations (construction debris littered about the lawn, old radiators left out to rust) and some of common areas have been enlarged. The beauty of the location is marred by the detritus and that should be taken into account when considering the cost associated with the stay. Don't expect hot water on demand and be prepared for a strong chlorine taps.Edit: I feel this review requires an update. This evening we were billed 18000 pesos each for a meal that consisted of canned beans with fresh cherry tomatoes as a salad with a fettuccine with canned mushrooms and cream served with what appeared to be day old buns. For desert we were served canned fruit. A better meal can be had in Puerto Natales for significantly cheaper and this should be considered before eating here. Convieniance is one thing but if you have the means to travel back into town, it might be worth considering.

This place is a gem that stands alone in between Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine. They generate their own power which adds to the charm, although it slightly limits electricity use and the WiFi is weak (but I don’t care, who needs it with the peaceful environment and gorgeous views!). The staff are super friendly and they serve a free breakfast. Last but not least, the bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in on my Patagonia trip. When I got to my room, I opened the windows to hear the wind and the distant animal noises, then laid on the bed. I never fall asleep easily, but the peaceful environment coupled with a perfectly plush but supportive bed put me immediately into a refreshing, midday siesta. ❤️

I loved the hotel. The food is very delicious and the staff are all the most friendly and accommodating. The rooms themselves are small but the whole property is very comfortable and warm. Takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to get to TDP, but much more comfortable than camping and possibly the best meal you could get in the TDP area.

Very good alternative to the more expensive hotels in Torres del Paine National Park. It is surrounded peacefully, about 90 minutes drive to the entrance of the park, some parts not paved but easily accessible with a normal car. Cosy and comfortable bedroom with balcony and great bed. Superb breakfast and dinner with tasty wines. Fast WiFi. Power generator switched off in the afternoon and between midnight and 6AM.
