We booked 3 tours with Patagonia while on a cruise. In all cases we were met promptly and in close proximity to the cruise ship. The guides were knowledgable and courteous. The vans used were comfortable and the drivers drove well. We particularly enjoyed the excursion to the Tierra del Fuego Park. The guide was a lot of fun and she selected some trails for us to hike in as we requestedwas a lot of fun and she selected some trails for us to hike in as we requested - a very memorable experience. We were a group of 6 and all of us were very pleased with the tours. Highly recommended.

Primera vez que visito el sur de Chile y tuve la fortuna de contratar a Jaime para nuestra visita.Nos recibió el primer días en Puerto Mont y traslado a Puerto Varas. Nos alojamos en el Hotel Cabañas del Lago, muy bueno y bien ubicado. Por la tarde fuimos de paseo a Frutillar.Día 2: fuimos a la isla de Chiloé; visitamos sus playas y vimos los pinguinos.Día 3: visitamos los saltos de Petrohue, navegamos lago Todos los Santos y luego subimos al volcán Osorno.Día 4: viajamos por carretera a Valdivia donde almorzamos y visitamos el mercado del marisco. Por la tarde seguimos a Pucón a nuestro alojamiento.Día 5: por la mañana visitamos Los Ojos de Caburgua, almorzamos en Pucón y por la tarde subimos al volcán Villarica.Día 6: Por la mañana visitamos el centro de Villarica, almorzamos y luego traslado al aeropuerto de Temuco para tomar nuestro vuelo a Santiago.Realmente las sugerencias de actividades, restaurantes y sitios de visita que nos recomendó Jaime fueron perfectas!Muchas gracias por este viaje en familia.

PUERTO MONTTSeptember 2015My wife and I did the Puerto Montt zip line tour. We had the BEST time. This was the first we had ever done a zip line tour. I am 61 and my wife is 57. We don't let our age stop us from doing exciting things in life. The view was breath taking and the guides were knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour.

Shore excursions on a South America cruiseI found several favorable reviews of Shorex so I emailed them to get a list of their tours and the costs. Jaime, the owner, was very responsive to my initial inquiry and my numerous questions in subsequent emails. We booked tours in several of our port stops. Our guides were almost all excellent. One was very good but had a bit of an accent. One of our port stops (Ushuaia) was cancelled due to weather. Jaime immediately refunded our pre-payment for that tour.I would highly recommend Shorex for their responsiveness, the overall quality of their guides, their competitive prices (especially compared to the ships excursions), and the convenience of one stop shopping for excursions in many ports.

For 5 days in August 2015, our host extraordinaire Jaime Liebrecht enthralled our group of 25 Cruise Critics from the Sea Princess with a fully escorted tour from Manta to Lima, with the highlight being to conquer the mountain Machu Picchu.
