What a wonderful day trip from Santiago. Patricia was exceptional. We were picked up promptly from our hotel. The drive through the city was great with Patricia telling us about the history of Santiago as well as history of wine in Chile. The two tastings she picked were delightful and so unique. And the lunch with views over the entire maipo valley was spectacular.Highly highly recommend for anyone who loves wine. I'm just upset I am leaving Santiago now otherwise would be booking another tour!

My wife and I along with two travel companions, had Patricia for three of her guided tours in Chile.We highly recommend Patricia as a guide in her native land.Over the course of two and a half days, we were introduced to historic Santiago, visited two wineries with lunch at one of them, hiked historic ground, viewed petroglyphs, visited a Mapuche weaver and visited historic coastal cities,Patricia’s service as a guide is distinguished by three characteristics:1. Patricia demonstrated to us a breadth of knowledge not characteristic of many guides. She knows a great deal about Chilean history, architecture, culture, ancient peoples, and geology.2. She has a network of people off the beaten path – artisans, wine makers, architects involved in restoration. She willingly introduces her clients to these people in small group settings enabling person to person contact not available on most tours.3. Patricia’s style is highly engaging. A tour with her is not a lecture. He clients have the opportunity to ask questions and ask follow-up questions. The experience is less a guided tour than a continuous conversation with a person committed to sharing the unique characteristics of her country’s history, culture, and geology as well as her own experiences living in Chile.Finally, it should be emphasized that Patricia knows wine. She will take you to wineries that produce superb wine and offer an engaging experience.In our experience, the best way to experience what Patricia has to offer is to let her know your interests and have her design or customize one of her tours to address your preferences.

We hired Patricia for a tour of highlights of Santiago, since we only had one day before going to patagonia. She tailored the tour to our exact needs and desires. She provided transportation to and from the hotel. She made recommendations for outstanding meals which we thoroughly enjoyed. Of course her expertise with wine paired well. She took us to an outstanding seafood restaurant took us to quaint Italian neighborhoods and showed us the major attractions and kept us safe. I highly recommend.
