Training Dogs For Life

She has a gift...but the good news is she passed a bit of her gift onto my partner and I. Our French Bulldog 'Kondo' turned up and was basically a big bully with her help and lots of dog treats I can now walk him down Queen Street without a lead.You have to do one of her classes. Everybody thinks I'm a genius haha.

Our dog needed to learn some manners and control his enthusiasm. Jess and the team taught us how to relate to our dog and give him what he needed... which is just what we needed!

Great puppy training

Absolutely the best place. I find the team so lovely and knowledgeable. They have done wonders for my dog.

Training Dogs for Life was a poor experience I would not recommend. The core letdowns were:• Very poor communication e.g. no response to emails, only after they have taken your funds• Punctuality- sessions starting up to 20 minutes late, and finishing up to 10 minutes late• Environment- Nowhere suitable to wait prior to sessions (they ask you to arrive 15 minutes early to stand in a driveway shared with mechanics, lots of vehicles & debris, no grassed area or seating, full sun and wind)• One size fits all approach- If your dog can already do what they are training you get zero attention and learn nothing in the class.Our start date was delayed by COVID and we started 3 weeks later than planned. Nothing was done to account for this and the classes were far too basic for us and our puppy. We did expect the content would be more dynamic to meet the needs of the dogs (all being 3wks older than planned) but this was not the case, and when I reached out via email to discuss this I was ignored.

We have a rescue greyhound and Rose was awesome with him! She taught us lots of tips and tricks to connecting with him better, and was really good at tailoring things specifically to the needs of each dog in the class. Would recommend and am definitely interested in enrolling in the next level up!

Very disappointing and complete waste of money. I frankly don’t believe they are as experienced or qualified as they portray themselves to be. We found Kristy to be disconnected and disinterested. We got no value from the sessions and have had to chase them for the follow up resources that were meant to be sent to us immediately after the sessions. Time and money wasted with nothing to show for it. :-(

Amazing people

Our 2yo fur baby was with another family before and was never trained. We signed up the adult dog school for him with an expectation of learning social etiquettes. I'll rate the overall service according to the following aspects:Skills: 2 star. Our instructor doesn't differentiate dog breeds and uses one size fits all approach which apparently failed to make it work, at least for our dog. For example, some dogs are not natural good/fast runners but she would ascribe it to lack of talent".Friendliness: 1 star. She appears to pay more attention to big

The group classes are just fantastic: I thought I had a good grip on the basics but they really upskilled my dog training. Would recommend to anyone with a puppy! I came back for two rounds of classes with my second puppy as the environment was so great for her and being taken through step by step so helpful. Thanks team!
