Alex is not only an amazing guide affording his guests incredible access to great water, he is a fabulous streamside grilling cook, and most importantly an absolute delight to spend many days with. In 8 days I saw six other anglers...and 4 were in one day on a road we fished to. Alex is it for fishing in Cohaique area. Don't look elsewhere for great Simpson River area fishing experience.

I have fished with Alex nearly every year since 2006 and had the privilege of being taken to a huge variety of lakes and rivers around Coyhaique.His knowledge and experience of the fishing is unrivalled and he is without doubt one of the very best guides in the region. He works extremely hard over long days to ensure that the opportunities to catch fish are maximised. He is always happy to help you improve your skills and I have learnt a great deal from him. As an added bonus his culinary skills are exceptional and I've enjoyed many memorable lunches in spectacular settings beside the water. I would recommend him to anyone.
