We had a great time with Val and just love how much knowledge she has to share about culture, history, and bird life! So much so that we have become avid bird watchers now too! We cannot recommend her as a guide highly enough to people who really want to know the region! Val plans great adventures with a lot of lovely finishing touches. Five star!

Can’t say enough positive things about this wonderful guide! She has a fantastic personality and is extremely diverse in her areas of interest and knowledge. During my time in San Pedro Valeria guided us on a climb to an amazing crater of a live volcano, she hiked us down a refreshing creek running through a beautiful slot canyon, she showed us an absolutely stunning astronomy tour (complete with projectors, telescopes, laser pointers and personal pictures of us with stars in the background), she took us to remarkable archeological ruins and ancient rock art, she shared the very best salt flat scenery with perfect reflections of mountains and entertaining flamingos in the lakes, she shared her secret and productive birding spots, she got us in the most enchanting desert thermal pools with waterfalls, and she even arranged some amazing food experiences for us. I’ve hired scores of guides for various activities in various countries over the years and none have been more enjoyable than Val. Valeria’s Adventures gets my highest and most positive endorsement!!!

I went on a wildlife safari with Val and had the best time learning about the Atacama Desert and all its inhabitants! Val was extremely knowledgeable about the animals there and especially the birds. Her expertise was obvious as she was able to spot and identify so many species. Her enthusiasm was also extremely contagious. At one point we spotted a rare hummingbird, and she was so excited to see it that we were also caught up in the excitement. The smaller group was also much preferred over the bigger tour groups. It felt like a very personalized experience as we tried to look out for animals that we were interested in seeing. Val also had binoculars and all the right equipment that made the tour even more unique. In general, it was a pleasure being around her bright personality. She's the type of person that you'd want to stay friends with even after the tour. We added each other on Instagram and on occasion when I post a photo of a bird, she'll respond to let me know the species.

Valeria is a wonderful guide hire her! She will make your adventure memorable. We still feel the warmth 4 months later of how she listened and met our personal needs as we toured the Atacama with her for 4 days. She has a vitality and the knowledge to make every moment special. She has a new 4 door AWD truck to go anywhere you want to. We miss her Paul and Christa from California USA
