Por el alto trafico que tienen deberian tener mas preocupacion por el y mejorar las co diciones para los pasajeros.

If this helps another traveller > We travelled from Arica to Tacna using the international taxi here. Make sure you take an official one INSIDE the international terminal. Ignore people outside the terminal :). They put 4-5 people together in a taxi. Everyone pays 6500 pesos. It’s a fixed price that hangs on the wall inside the terminal (read:’ parking lot). The drivers take your passport to get some notes for their papers for the border check. We were a bit anxious of giving our passport because we didn’t really understand why (our Spanish is not that great). But in the end it’s just for the paperwork and they give it back to you before the border control.You do the border control together with the driver and passengers from your taxi. You get your stamp of leaving Chile, stamp for arriving in Peru and a bagage check.The driver and people were very friendly and helpful in showing us everything.
