Vinos Ravelo y Rabelo

Probably the most memorable wine tasting experience we have ever experienced. Gabriela and Christian were not only excellent guides in showing their wine making process, but they were also like friends who surpassed our expectations of hospitality multiple times over.The winemakers were the warmest hosts one could hope for. The shared how they make their wine, let us sample their wines directly from the barrel, showed their bodega & cellar, walked us through their vineyard, and invited us into their home. We even fed their peacocks and played with their friendly dogs.Vinos Ravelo y Rabelo specializes in a natural wine making process. It is by no means an easier process to producing wine; in fact it seems to be much more labor intensive. But the result is very special (and very delicious) wines.
