Habitación 7, doble una cama, muy incómoda, estrechisima, no apta como doble, no hay donde poner maletas, solo en el suelo, mal iluminada, tiene 2 ventanas, las cortinas no funcionan, el jabón y el shampoo hay que dejarlo en el piso de la ducha pues no hay donde ponerlos. Toallas buenas, desayuno aceptable, hospitalidad aceptable.

The room is basic and old, the heat didn’t work during the night, breakfast to go was poor and we had a problem with the toilet that it took them few hours to fix. The only advantages is the location- walking distance from bus termina and the city center, and that they did keep are bags while we were at Torres del Paine. In this price or a little more you can find much better places to stay

Wonderful staff who made us feel really at home! Super sweet and thoughtful people. The breakfast/communal area is cozy and has a great view of the mountains, plus the best wifi we had in Patagonia. We stayed in a double room with a bathroom and loved our room. We also loved the location, as it’s quiet at night but still a very short walk to the bus station and many restaurants/bars/supermarkets. ¡Muchas Gracias!

Xalpen is very nice and cozy place, lounge upstairs with a nice and comfy seating area, and an exceptional view. Older lady Ms. Milagro that prepare breakfast and cleans is very nice and friendly,no English but super friendly and nice and makes you feel you're at your mom's house and not at business establishment, girl that runs place and work at reception Ms. isidora, is very professional and always happy to assist, find information you need, and she is always there, when you wake up, when you come back, and even before you ho to sleep you see her around doing something. 5/5 *

Realmente increíble! El hostal es súper limpio, muy bien ubicado, posee una vista preciosa a la ciudad. Ofrecen desayuno y un area con cocina y sofá con vista al mar, y todo muy ordenado.Destaco la amabilidad de todos y lo atentos que son!

Very lovely place! Close to the bus station and many restaurants nearby! The hosts are very welcoming and accomodating. When I left for my hike in Torres del Paine, Mari happily held my luggage in storage. Views from the kitchen are amazing and breakfast is light but enough to get you going in the morning. Rooms are small with shared bathrooms but the beds are comfy to spend a night or two!

They were super helpful when we were stuck between accomodations and even drive out to pick us up. Good for a quieter atmosphere. Easy walking distance to the main bus terminal as well as around town (including the cocktail bar Last Hope!)
