At Natalislang you can improve your Spanish in a more communicative way. Their program adapts to the students needs and pace. But if you struggle with learning languages you can take private lessons. I recommend this school, the teachers are really good and helpful. The administration as well. You can spend time learning Spanish and from Chile.

My teacher, Katherine went above and beyond to improve my Spanish skills. I was a complete beginner but she was kind and patient with me as I struggled to speak most of the time. She was really encouraging and pushed me to do my best! When I had to go home for 2 weeks during the middle of the course, she was super accommodating with my schedule and made sure I did not miss any classes. I will miss my time at Natalis Language Centre!

In my second week I repeated the first level. I’m glad I did. Before arriving in Valparaíso, I read several chapters of two books for beginning Spanish, to hit the ground running. It was time well spent. The Natislang first level course covers in one week a little more than the entire beginning semester of Spanish in the University of California Extension Program. I studied most afternoons, and both Saturdays and Sundays prior to a partial third week at Natislang. It took all of that for me to really finish the introductory course. Every other student I spoke to also agreed that they could not absorb all the knowledge coming to them in a single week. The teacher moves very fast, but if you work outside the classroom and repeat the course, that approach is good. However, Natislang will expect you to move on to the second level in the second week, which moves just as fast, so communicate early if you decide to repeat level 1.The teachers are really good. You will also learn about Chile. The books are extremely well written to teach Spanish grammar. However, they are all Spanish, so it helped me a lot to memorize early the Spanish words for “noun,” “sentence,” etc. The teachers speak some English in the classrooms, but no other language. You pay cash on the first day of each course, or 5% extra if you use a credit card. Natislang also offers private lessons. My wife and I liked Natislang and Valparaíso so much that we intend to return for two weeks next January.
