We loved traveling with a Kawascars adventure minivan! A small but well equipped ‘hotel on wheels’ which brings you to the most beautiful places of Patagonia! Quick replies from the company before and during our trip! We really can recommend this company.

I rented the Adventure Campervan in Punta Arenas and it was a fun car, which brought us to Torres del Paine National Park and Ushuhaia! Fiona on the other side of the email communication was a great partner, always quick with information and responses!

Pay attention and make your decision!!In the 6 weeks that my boyfriend and I have traveled with the Chevrolet, there are points for improvement that help you as travelers with your decision to rent from Kawascars.The company uses European prices, but delivers poor quality:- Kawascars is a starting company and has little experience with unexpected problems that travelers can experience- There is no emergency number that you can reach if there is a problem with the camper. This feels unsafe. You can only reach Kawascars by email.- The photos of the cool box on the website do not correspond to what you get: there is only a cool bag, so you cannot keep your products cool. Also there isn't a coffee press.- The equipment for cooking utensils is limited, for example we had to buy a cutting board, dishcloths and washing-up utensils ourselves.- Kawascars outsources everything to third parties, which means that the service part is taken off your hands. As a result, Kawascars has no insight into what travelers will find when they pick up and return the camper in a city other than Coyhaique. For example, the camper we picked up in Puerto Montt wasn't clean and the paperwork wasn't in order. A steel part of the bed had broken off, which we had repaired ourselves in a garage. There was also damage to the plastic on the doors and on the bottom of the sleeping mattresses at the start.- We experienced a dangerous situation after a month. Because the wiring from the second battery in the car to the diesel engine was installed incorrectly, a flame unexpectedly arose in the morning at the diesel engine in the camper. There was smoke everywhere. It took us three days of the holiday to come to a compensation arrangement with Kawascars. Kawascars indicates that it has limited money and is mainly doing business, without showing understanding how dangerous this situation has been for us. After the camper was repaired at our request, we were able to continue the journey safely.

Great service for budget deals. I've rented a small, basic camper van with them for a good price. It was a great combination with the basic, budget camping sites that are available throughout Patagonia. Perfectly served my purpose. And the communication with Fiona & Agustin is great, very nice people!

Kawascars was very professional, friendly, and responsive throughout the entire process. They were flexible and able to accommodate changes in our reservation. We had a wonderful time on our trip and the van met our expectations!

We had a really great experience with Kawascar and we would recommend it to anyone! We rent a campervan with this company in january 2019 at Coyhaique and we drove for 2 weeks towards Villa O'Higgings and back to Coyhaique. The car was really great and we didn't had any problems (not even one flat ;) !!). We had the best trip, enjoying nature in the comfort of our beautiful campervan! The owner Fridrik is also really kind and helpful; he answered every questions about our trip very quickly. Don't look anymore, this is the best car rental company in Patagonia!!

We had an excellent experience with Kawascars. The van was perfect, the customer service was top notch. Communication was great and pick up and drop off easy. I’d rent again! One of the best trips ever!
