We just returned from a two week tour of Chile's wine regions and visited many wineries from Talca to Santiago. ALL wineries were very hospitable and welcoming until we visited Lapostolle around 11:30 AM on a weekday when the winery was open. When we walked into the lobby with some other visitors, a winery staff member told us that they don't conduct tastings and that we could walk through the winery to the patio overlooking the vineyards before we leave. The were very abrupt and inhospitable. This winery obviously doesn't want visitors. Don't bother going there.
