Macfarlane Generators, Seven Hills, NSW

Extremely disappointed with the receptionist at seven hills Macfarlane generators. She had a low level of knowledge around the company product line which made it very difficult to book our desired generator. Worse than this was her horrendous customer service. She did not hesitate to eye roll every question we had and talked in a demeaning way to my employees. Do not hire from this site! You will not be supported in any facet.

Always get great service from Andy in the hire department. Easy pickup and drop off. Cannot fault the aerial and reliability.AndyParker Construction

I bought a 13kva gas powered Generac standby generator from Mcfarlane Generators a couple of years ago and it was one of the best things we have done. We live in the country at the end of the power grid, so ever time something went wrong on that line, we were in a blackout.Since we had our generator installed, there is no such thing as blackouts for us. When the power goes off, a short gap in electricity supply occurs, the generator kicks in and our house is back to normal in seconds. It's that quick.BTW - this gas machine is economical. It uses very little gas. It runs for a long time a 45kg tank of gas.The service and support from Mcfarlane's is always there. Reliable and consistant. They are a good mob to deal with.. !!

I was in need of parts for my Kipor Generator, KGE 2000, after a few searches I came across MacFarlane Generators and more importantly I was connected with a staff member, Erin and how pleased I was, this Staff Member was proactive, courteous and had knowledge about the product, bearing in mind the unit was about 16/17 years old. Erin kept me up to date at every step, my order was very small but that did not phase her. It is very seldom these days to have such fine service. I can only say how lucky MacFarlane Generators are to have such an employee on staff. I can strongly recommend this Firm as a provider of Generators and parts for same. I have no affiliation to this firm.

These guys are great people to hire from!Easy, reliable, ready to go on arrival and very polite. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire a generator.

I wouldn't even give a star, but to post my review I had to. Macfarlane's NSW the most useless bunch of guys I have ever dealt with. 12 weeks to repair a Cummins generator, misdiagnosed, fitted carby and destroyed it at a cost of $1100,. The problem was only a spark plug wire, which they couldn't rectify after 12 weeks??? Gave generator to Vikings on Northern Beaches, fixed within 4 hours, has not missed a beat. Any problems with Generators, I suggest you go to Vikings. They will look after you. Also Cummins Australia are as useless as what Macfarlanes are. They cannot even help with complaints that you give them.IN RESPONSE TO YOUR COMMENT; firstly you didnt charge me as i refused to pay anything. Secondly, viking did replace the carby, that carby was only 3 weeks old and you also destroyed the original carburretor. The unknown history I find odd seeing that you had it 5 weeks with the original owner, and then over 6 weeks with me. So you should have known the history as you worked on it. You have had this generator total of 11 weeks between me and the previous owner, who I might add sold me the winnebago with generator that you worked on for 5 weeks, then a month in between and i purchased it and unfortunately i unknowingly gave it back to you. And you didn't even telll me that you couldn't fix it. If i was you, I would end this as you are sinking deeper and deeper and people will find out more about this! Yours truly, disgruntled consumer.

John and the team at McFarlane generators are the team to go to for any generator issues. They exceeded my expectations in every way, from exceptional customer service to timely updates and finally resolving multiple issues to get me on the road again.I own a mobile coffee business so having a generator issue fixed in a timely and cost effective way is of uttermost importance. I came across McFarlane generator by chance as the mechanic who usually looks after it was leaving on a 4 week holiday and didn’t have time to fix what turned out to be a major issue.I didn’t want to take it to Generator Power who used to service it years ago. I recall their abysmal service where I would take it in for routine maintenance or an issue, only to have the generator break down again a few days later. They replaced every imaginable part only to have it break down time after time almost sending me broke.Thanks again guys at McFarlane generators, looking forward to seeing my customers again tomorrow.

I have dealing with Macfarlane Generators Seven Hills since last 10 years. In all these years they have never let us down. They have always supported our business with there great services. I would like to mention the current Service in charge,”Andrew” such a great guy he is. Andrew has always been supportive, Kind and very helpful.

Cannot fault the service from John and Tim at Macfarlane generators, had some running issues with out generator at the yard and needed information ASAP to get the power pack up and running, within the hour I had the information I needed and was back up and operating with John even going over and above after receiving my tech support to double check the issue was rectified10/10 would recommend

100% positive from start to finish! Took my generator and realised it would only take a few hours to complete to get me back on my way knowing that they were very busy with lots of jobs before mine they did it straight away so they could get me on the road.Got such a positive Vibe from everybody there!Gino.
