The staff here is not well-trained about their products and treat customers with rudeness. The owner sets the bad tone/attitude. No returns or store credits given if an associate sells you the wrong product.I bought two nail polishes here- I asked for black and white, regular tip nail polishes, which the store associate selected for me from the nail polish case, which opens behind the counter. When I opened the white at home, it was wrong. He had given me a white fine tip which is only for nail decoration or French manicure. I brought it back to the store the next day unused and with the receipt and politely asked to exchange for the correct item. I am fluent in English but only have basic-intermediate Spanish, so I used Google translate. I was stunned by the condescending response from the female associate. She was dismissive, haughty, barely looked me in the eye, and denied me an exchange. Looking back on it, she was so impolite to me that I actually froze at the counter for a moment. The next day when I discovered the other bottle was also incorrect -dark purple instead of black- I took a deep breath and tried to go return that one as well. A different associate would not accept that back either for the same reason, and she even indicated that she knew I had tried to return the white bottle the previous day. She was equally dismissive and even accusatory - at this point I realized in shock that they were acting as if I was trying to return the product used. I showed her my nails, explained it was unused, explained that their associate had sold it to me as black and I deserved to be able to exchange it since I had paid in good faith. She understood what I said, she even seemed a little sorry, but said it was the business's policy to not accept returns or exchanges. I told her this was bad business practice and bad service, that it makes no sense. I was so disgusted by their implication that I was trying to cheat them that I just left the bottles on the counter and walked out.I do not know whether this treatment is normal for all customers, or if this specifically occurred to me because I am clearly not Chilean. All I know is that the way I felt and saw myself being treated here was as an unvalued customer and as a liar. It's pretty shocking when something like this happens to you. I definitely want other non-Spanish speakers to know my genuine experience before going to this particular store.Update: In response to the owner's response below, I understand that a government policy could have prevented this business from accepting a return. It doesn't make logical sense (no one catches COVID from nail polish bottles) but I understand there are bureaucratic forces that sometimes are at play. However, it was in the staff's ability to do an exchange or store credit, based on the fact that the sale was done in their error. Instead, they were rude and dismissive to me from the moment I politely asked for a return. They chose not to help me. My valid complaint was disregarded because I am a non-fluent Spanish speaker. Everyone has access to Google translate these days - so there is just no excuse for now claiming they couldn't understand me". They chose to not listen to me

De todos los años que llevo visitando farmacias, jamás había recibido un trato tan cordial. Su atención es un oasis en medio del ajetreo de la ciudad. Bendiciones.

Quedé impresionada!! Remedios que en cadena me salían 60k aquí me salieron 16 mil pesos!!! Aparte los vendedores muy simpáticos y te muestran siempre muchas opciones para que tu elijas según precio o preferencias personales

Tenían todo lo que andaba buscando, súper buena la atención. El mismísimo jefe de local salió a desperdirse de mi con un besito en la frente. Todo muy cordial.El local estaba limpio y ordenado también. Sin lugar a dudas se lleva 5 estrellas.
