Rent a Hilux

We had a great experience with rent a hilux!We contacted them via WhatsApp.We got a Toyota Hilux (4x2) - in our opinion the best car for San Pedro and surroundings.The staff is very supportive and will give you some recommendations regarding viewpoints and road conditions.Only downside the insurance is very limited.

Positive experience with renting Toyota Hilux (80k CLP per day, two days minimum). Quick administrative process, payment taken by all means (debit, credit, cash). Only one drawback is the requirement of safety deposit of 300k CLP taken only by cash. They also have Toyota RAV4 for 85k a day.

We were very happy with the car and everything was arranged in an official matter. Only critique might be that we had to wait quite some time to get/drop off the car.But except for that good value for money!

Wir hatten für drei Tage einen Hilux gemietet und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Anmietung erfolgte über eine Agentur in San Pedro, die sich um das vertragliche und die Bezahlung kümmern. Die Kaution kann mittlerweile auch per Kreditkarte hinterlegt werden.Das Auto war in einem guten Zustand und vorhandene Beulen und Kratzer wurden kurz per Foto dokumentiert. Die Rückgabe war problemlos und ging sehr schnell.Kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

We arranged everything via whatsapp the day before we arrived and rented a Suzuki Vitara AWD for 5 days. The car was in good condition, the pick-up & return fast and easy and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended!

Obligation to rent for 2 days minimum, even after explanation that we have a bus the next day ... the owner of hilux will still rent you the car for 1 day but at the price of 2 ...We were told that a 4x4 jeep was rather expensive compared to the other cars (not available)Finally the price is the same but it is another car which waits for us on the carpark... not very arrange and not very pleasant. Only advantage: deposit payable in cash.

Con ellos arrendamos un auto durante 4 días. La camioneta estaba en buen estado, nos dieron un coche mejor del que habíamos pagado por el mismo precio. Lo único que remarcaría como aspecto negativo es que no permiten pagar la garantía con tarjeta de débito o crédito, debe ser mediante transferencia o efectivo, cosa que limita bastante a los turistas extranjeros

La camioneta esta nueva, se puede pagar con tarjeta, el servicio es responsable.

We had a Toyota Hilux for one day and had much fun in the desert. 5 stars for the car.But: we took over the car with 25% fuel in the tank. As we didn't know how far we would go, we filled up to 100%. When we returned, the tank was still almost 75% full. The company was not willing to refund anything. It would be fair to hand over the cars with full tank and have it returned with full tank. We lost some 30,000 peso by this.So all in all a very expensive day as the Hilux costs 120,000 plus 10,000 cleaning for one day.There are other rental companies in San Pedro! However, at one of them we got another car with totally ruined tires.... So all in all: be careful in San Pedro when you deal with local businesses.Remark to rent a hillux: I rented hundreds of cars throughout the world and it is common practice that the client returns the car with full tank. So no additional effort for you and a fair game!

I highly recommend this rental company.It is important that they have different options for paying: you are able to pay for rental and deposit in cash (USD).They answered all questions before the arrival in San Pedro, as well as gave important recommendations during the lease.
