the place in pucon to go for any map. the owners themaelves run the place. they are very helpful and can guide you in your questions. they also have some great local nature books. only thing that keeps me from giving five stars is that the store is that they not have a lot of books.

Extremely professional and helpful, go there if you're trekking the area!We met Hans, the owner, as we were looking for a way to get to the Villarica Traverse hike (at the CONAF at Quetrupillan). Set aside his vast knowledge of trails, required gear and weather, he was simply amiable to us as fellow hikers. He really loves what he is doing and this is felt in every interaction with him. Just to give you an idea - he gave us his personal phone number to contact him in case of an emergency...He ended up taking us with his 4WD to the start of the trail on his free day, for a very reasonable (not to say low) price. Without him, we wouldn't have been able to take the wonderful Villarica Traverse - all adventure" companies don't have transportation services there
