La Montaña Spanish School

Muy bien hecho las clases de español en la escuela La Montaña. Hay mucha flexibilidad para las necesidades de cada persona en cada nivel por causa de los habilidades que tienen las profesoras. Una experiencia con mucho valor.

We spent two weeks at La Escuela Montana, and had a great experience. Because we are at two different learning levels we were in different classrooms. The teachers , Veronica, and Vicki were both excellent. Vicki spoke very little English, so her class was completely in Spanish even though it was the beginner class. Veronica is a very skilled teacher and was able to teach some complicated concepts. The classes sizes varied but from day to day and week to week. Our smallest class size was two and the largest was 10. There were students from many countries and the camaraderie really added a lot to the experience.Veronica arranged two afternoon activities per week, which were typically short hikes to beautiful and less known locations.Our only regret is that we did not sign up for a whole month. Note that as of this writing, some of the information on the school website is out of date. The school went through a lot of changes due to the pandemic, including a different location in Bariloche. Also, I recommend making your school arrangements directly through Veronica at the school rather than through Academia Uruguay as we accidentally did. I attended La Montaña Spanish school in Bariloche for four weeks starting in the beginning of December 2022. Before I came to Bariloche, my Spanish was below intermediate level and my conversational skills were simply non-existent. Verónica, the main teacher at La Montaña, and her assistants managed to turn me into an imperfect but effective Spanish speaker. In the last few days of attending La Montaña I was able to have a three-hour conversation with a newly-acquainted Argentinian friend who spoke exclusively in Spanish. Verónica is a phenomenal teacher who has a unique way of clearly explaining the most important aspects of the Spanish language. She also has a unique presentation style whereby her students never lose focus. I was really impressed with what the school has to offer and with my own progress.Asistí a la escuela de español La Montaña en Bariloche durante cuatro semanas desde principios de diciembre de 2022. Antes de venir a Bariloche, mi español estaba por debajo del nivel intermedio y mis habilidades conversacionales eran simplemente inexistentes. Verónica, la maestra principal de La Montaña, y sus asistentes lograron convertirme en un imperfecto pero eficaz hablante de español. En los últimos días de asistir a La Montaña pude mantener una conversación de tres horas con un amigo argentino recién conocido que hablaba exclusivamente en español. Verónica es una profesora fenomenal que tiene una manera única de explicar claramente los aspectos más importantes del idioma español. También tiene un estilo de presentación único gracias al cual sus alumnos nunca pierden la concentración. Estaba realmente impresionado con lo que ofrece la escuela y con mi propio progreso.

La mejor escuela de español de argentina. Aprendí muchos en 3 semanas. Las proffessoras son muy amables.

Estuve estudiando por dos semanas y me encantó la manera que los profesores conducen las clases... Una didática mas direcionada a ti, así que, lo que tienes que mejorar, ellos identifican y ya lo corrigen. A mí Me encantaría más actividades extracurriculares, jajajaja.Pero eso no es un problema y si una sugerencia, porque tengo muchas ganas de volver el próximo año!Besos a todos! Ich war einen Monat in der Sprachschule “ la Montaña Spanish School” in Bariloche. Die Schule selbst ist gut organisiert, die Lehrer motiviert, eine gute Atmosphäre, es gibt täglich Kaffee, Tee und Kleinigkeiten zum essen. Der Unterricht hat mich in der Spanisch Konversation weiter gebracht da wir viele Themen in Angriff nahmen. Die Lage der Schule ist super, eine Bergschule im speziellen Bariloche , Dankeschön .

I studied Spanish for 5 weeks at La Montana and highly recommend the experience to anyone serious about learning and improving their Spanish while wanting to explore a beautiful area of Argentina.Veronica is responsive and makes your stay run smoothly. The teachers are superb and help each other out. I had four teachers during my 5 weeks, and really benefited from their different teaching styles. That was a huge plus for me. I also liked the supporting materials and the creative approaches they used in their instruction (games, recordings, conversations, readings, exercises, and so on).There is a break in the morning so you can connect with other students over tea and snacks. Twice a week the school offers an outing, which varies in success depending on interest. I easily got to do everything I wanted to do, and everyone will help you figure it out if you ask. Veronica creates a Whatsapp group that you can be a part of to get communicating with your fellow students.This school is also family friendly, and kids are able to have their own program while parents learn too. I opted to do a family stay and could not have been happier.Bariloche is a great town to spend time in, as I did, for a month, as it has many activities. I was there in summer (January & February) so got to hike, mountain bike, para-sail, horseback ride and travel to adjacent towns easily. I also joined a gym (Vertices7) for the month, which is easy to do. The weather was also quite amazing.Muchas gracias a mis amigos por una gran experiencia. Por favor ven a visitarme en Canada :-)

Awesome week of classes at La Montana Spanish School! Veronica is a wonderful teacher. If you want to sharpen your skills, this is a great place to do it. Communicate your goals with Veronica and she will help you get there!

Um dos melhores investimentos que fiz em minha passagem por Bariloche! A Veronica é uma excelente professora e oferece conteúdos e dinâmicas bastante voltados para as necessidades particulares de cada aluno.Tive a oportunidade de frequentar duas semanas distintas de aulas, em duas turmas diferentes e, em ambos os casos, aprendi e evoluí muito em meu espanhol.As atividades extra-classe foram maravilhosas, ajudaram na prática de conversação e na interação entre os alunos. Foram momentos culturalmente muito rico.Recomendo de olhos fechados!!!
