Wicked Campers Puerto Varas

Tremenda experiencia, 100% recomendado. La camper tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar al máximo en la comodidad de la naturaleza, la atención siempre amable por parte del personal.

Gran experiencia con Wicked. Alquilamos un overlander 4x4 un par de semanas en Agosto para recorrer la Patagonia desde Puerto Varas a Punta Arenas, con un clima bastante exigente. Lluvia, nieve, viento, frio... La cabina no está calefactada pero durmiendo con unos sacos adecuados no se pasa frio. Tuvimos unos cuantos contratiempos (quedamos encallados en el barro, se agrietó el parabrisas y se filtraba agua por la trampilla de venilación). A pesar de ello, la atención desde Wicked fue excelente, solucionando todos los problemas sin cobrarnos ningún extra. Recomendado 100%, tanto Wicked como disfrutar de la Patagonia en invierno. Una experiencia salvaje que se debe experimentar alguna vez en la vida.

We had the CamperVan for three people from Wicked for 21 days. We were two adults. But we wanted to have a three person camper to have a little bit more space, especially when it is rainy. We thought that was the perfect decision! We always slept very well in the campervan! Because is is very windy in Patagonia we were also very happy, that we have not chosen a roof-top-tent-car. The camper-van we had was well equipped and even though it had 279000km the van was easily climbing every mountain and we had brand new wheels, brakes, a.s.o. We picked it up in Punta Arenas. It was such a nice trip through Patagonia! The car was a little bit dusty, when we picked it up, but the reason was, that the road to the small pickup station in punta arenas is a dirt unpaved road. The pick up procedure was very easy and relaxed. They told us that we only have to report big damages. Because of the many dirt roads they don’t register scratchs or something on the surface. On our trip on a dirt road a metal sheet under the van to protect the cooling system was fallen down and made a lot of noise because some screws were lost because of the vibrations. We drove back to the last city, connected with wicked and a local mechanic fixed it. We had to pay, but at drop off wicked refunded the money without any discussion. At the drop-off in puerto varas there was a very friendly well english speaking an nice guy. His name was Rodriguez. The drop-off procedure was very easy within 10 Minutes and without a lot paperwork. Rodriguez was very interested how our trip was and took care that we always felt relaxed and asked if we need something. Because the drop-off point is a little bit out of the city we asked for a taxi to go to the city centre. Rodriguez said it is not necessary because he will drive us back. And immediately he made this! So nice!! Without any extra costs!! We wanted to give him a tip, but he did not wanted it. He said, when the customer is satisfied that is the most important for him/them! Wow! This is not everywhere a common way of treating customers! We are very impressed and especially can very recommend wicked and Rodriguez! Thanks a lot for this amazing adventure! Finally we can recommend everybody to ask for an extra fuel tank, because in Patagonia fuel stations are rare and some are sometimes out of fuel. Wicked gave that to us for free and it was very helpful!!

EN: Highly recommend planning a road trip with these people, during the total solar eclipse in December/2020 in the reopening of Chile borders amidst the pandemic, I had a flawless customer service, I wish the airline's companies could have a customer service like this. Seriously!I got I brand-new van for my trip, and everything went great, Rodrigo was attending us and made the pick-up and the drop-off very simple, he even had the kindness to give us a ride to the airport after the vehicle drop-off, he didn't have to. Thanks a lot for everything and the experience of this trip.PT: Recomendo muito planejar uma viagem com este pessoal, durante o eclipse solar total de Dezembro/2020 na abertura das fronteiras do Chile em meio a pandemia, eu tive um atendimento ao cliente impecável, queria que as companhias aéreas tivessem um atendimento assim. Sério mesmo!Eu peguei uma van novinha para minha viagem e deu tudo certo, Rodrigo estava nos atendendo e fez a retirada do veículo e sua devolução muito simples, ele inclusive teve a gentileza de nos dar uma carona para o aeroporto após a entrega do veículo, ele não precisava! Muito obrigado por tudo e pela experiência desta viagem.

Excelente experiencia sobre 4 ruedas en nuestras vacaciones. Vehículos muy completo y con todo lo que ofrece la página. La atención muy personalizada, Rodrigo se porto un 7 con todo lo que necesitamos. Resolvió todas las dudas e inquitudes. Le solicitamos a Rodrigo si tenían algún contacto conocido para que nos llevara desde el lugar de entrega del vehiculo al Aeropuerto de Puerto Montt... Y dijo que no era necesario, ya que el podía venirnos a dejar sin ningún problema... Creo que eso hace aún mas bueno y agradable nuestro retorno, aunque obviamente sabemos que eso no está incluido en el servicio... Pero agradecemos enormemente su amabilidad y buena intención. Los precios acorde a lo ofrecido en sus vehículos. Totalmente recomendadisimo para quien quiera vivir esta aventura. Gracias Wicked Campers.

Wicked Campers was the right company to go with! Very friendly, helpful service from Katya, Cristian, and Daniel. They went the extra mile to make our overall experience renting a van for the Carretera Austral as smooth as possible. We loved the van as well, taking it on many roads and campsites throughout Chilean Patagonia.
