I did the Risco de la Barnechea horseback trip with AndesExplora and it was sooo much fun. The owner Matias was so helpful in getting my tour/payment all booked the day before via WhatsApp. Even though it was last minute, and I was the only one doing the tour, he took the time to make sure I had a great time. He offered pick-up and drop off, gave me an Andes Explora hat to wear during the tour, and even offered some of his sunscreen. The “cowboy” Orlando assured me that the horses knew what they were doing even over the steepest parts of the path. There were some moments I felt nervous, but Orlando never ceased to reassure me. Orlando pointed out plants and animals and took great pictures whenever I asked. At the end I was able to pet some of the other horses and even kittens at the stable! To top it all off, the cutest dog I’ve ever met was there, Max, and he followed us for the entire tour. The tour should take a little over 2 hours and you will get to a high peak where you can see the city below. Wear something with sleeves because my shoulder did get scratched up by the plants on the trail (some have thorns). You can bring water and other items in the saddlebags of the horses. I went in summer, and it was very hot, so be prepared to sweat! Thank you AndesExplora for an awesome and professional experience!

I booked a tour through Andes Explora for the atacama desert. They were easy and fast to communicate with. They provided me with a proposal and we tweaked it to fit my schedule. They took care of everything from flights to guided tours and transport. When my return flight was canceled they were quick to respond and managed to get me out the same day still to fit my schedule. They even helped me to change my rental car booking, even though it was not booked through them. If you need a tour or a longer trip and would like a pre-selection and peace of mind, I highly recommend Andes Explora. I communicated with Nicolas and his English was excellent and his communication on point.

Bike was great and we'll maintained. Juan was also very friendly. Next time in Santiago I would definitely rent again!

My wife and I took the half day hiking tour in the mountains and loved it! Incredible scenery and a great workout. Only 20mins from the city center (with hotel pickup) so no wasted time on your vacation. In particular our guide, Martin, was exceptional: fantastic knowledge of the geography, flawless English and fun to be with! Highly, highly recommend this excursion when visiting Santiago, Chile.

While visiting Santiago, we met Nick our guide on an earlier tour. We had such a great time, we asked if he would help arrange a private tour of a Casablanca valley vineyard and the take us to the airport. Nick was amazing! He worked with his boss and created a perfect ending for our 10-day trip to Chile. He’s a great guide and speaks perfect English. We went on a very intimate kayaking trip, just my wife, myself, and the guide. He took us up to a beautiful, remote lake up in the Andes where we spent a few hours kayaking around, with a lakeside picnic in the middle. Nicholas was a funny, passionate guy who we really enjoyed hanging out with for the entire day. We can't recommend this highly enough!
